Story

polish italian fusion great food great vibes

No.79 was founded by two soccer moms combining their love for design, innovation, restoration and hospitality. This created a familiar concept with a fresh spin on food, drinks and overall ambiance that quickly became a staple to the brand. The menu is constructed with fresh homemade products and recipes including our kielbasa, pierogies and sauces. In that, Polish Italian Fusion was born with a twist on classic bar foods. This was an opportunity to expand ideas and truly bring something new to the table for the Mullica Township community.

The number 79 popped up often during the building process, so we decided to look into it a little closer and found 79 is an Angel number. Every Angel number has a meaning and 79 means to Pay it Forward. Considering we are a community based establishment, we felt the mantra was fitting and it stuck with us!

The building has been a part of the community upward of 70 years. After walking the grounds we felt it was time for an uplift. Preserving the bones of the building and bar were very important to the renovation considering the bar’s history. A few additions complimented the building's features including cedar wood paneling on the ceiling, Jack bottle drop lighting along the bar and chandeliers made from historic eight foot tall wooden wine barrels. Newspapers from 1920 to 1940 were used as wallpaper throughout the room making it an interesting read all the way to the bathroom. To answer your question, yes, the penny bar is still in tack under the copper sheathing top. Plans are in motion for the outside of the building as we are excited to expand and open by Spring with a 20 seat bar, extended patio seating, firepits and an area for bands to perform outside.

So much has transpired over our first year. Coming out of Covid with a brand new business was a questionable move. However, it was the best decision we made. The community quickly became family and we couldn’t be happier with our progress. None of this would have been possible without the support we have received and we cannot thank everyone enough.

Na Zdrowie (Cheers)
